It unfolds through the following steps: the consultation, the drafting session, the storytelling discussions, the writing block, the editing stage, the book design and the final product.
The process
1.The Consultation

2.The Drafting Session
At The Story Atelier, understanding your goals and desires for your project — both simple and complex — is our top priority from start to finish. This session allows us to dig into how we should approach the project to understand its timeline and scope. The drafting session allows us to pinpoint who your audience is for the project and any specific ideas you have before we dive into the storytelling sessions. For example, if you're gifting a life experience to a parent, you might have particular areas you'd like to explore, which your parent may not have considered. If you are a business owner looking to spruce up your website, we would discuss the various pages and areas you would like updated. Once we have an outline drafted, we will provide you with the project proposal and initial investment.
3.The Storytelling Discussions
It's time tell your story! Our storytelling discussions are a delightful, seamless experience that are designed specifically for the client and project. If we are tackling a 360 life story, the storytelling discussions are often longer and more comprehensive. They are relaxed and cozy. If we are focusing on professional bios, the priority is often efficiency and organization. Regardless of the task, we welcome you to experience our atelier in all of its welcoming, creative beauty whether in our humble studio or over the phone!
4.The Writing Block
This is the phase the writing magic begins. We put pen to paper to create a outline depicting the flow of your story before we dive into the artistic process of transforming your experiences into a captivating story that will be easy and enjoyable for anyone to read.
5.The Editing Stage
Our base pricing includes three rounds of editing for any given project: two for the writing stage and one for the project deliverable. We completely understand that sometimes two editing rounds simply doesn’t cut it; so, we offer an unlimited editing that can be added on at any stage of the process. We are committed to delivering a story you are infatuated with, and we closely work with our clients to achieve this satisfaction.
6.The project Design
Once the story is complete, we will meet to discuss different ideas for the project deliverable. Whether it’s as simple as a Word document or as intricate as our staple life story coffee table book, the design component is essential to share a story that others will be excited to read.
7.The final deliverable
At last, your project is ready to be enjoyed by all. You will now enjoy your story in its custom format ready to be shared with others.
